Episode 067: Losing Your Virginity
When a teenage girl decides to have sex, it’s only a matter of time before she actually has sex. The desire to have sex is a normal and natural part of growing up. Our job as adults is to make sure she has good information so that she can make wise decisions about her health and safely satisfy her curiosity about sex. It’s also our responsibility to make sure she has access to condoms and contraception so that she can explore sex safely.
This episode is dedicated to all the girls who are thinking about having sex for the first time. You’ll find questions to ask both yourself and your partner to help make the experience a positive one, plus practical information on everything from peeing after sex to prevent bladder infections to how to have an orgasm during sex. We explore the nature of youthful relationships and discuss ways to keep yourself safe while exploring your sexuality. If you want to be good at sex, or have great sex, start by educating yourself about it in a responsible way.

A Resource for everyone: OMGYES! The Science of Female Pleasure
Amazing resource to learn about female pleasure. This resource is a must have for all teenage girls/women.
This is also a fantastic resource for teenage boys. If you’d like your son to be a good lover and know his way around a woman’s body, this is the perfect resource. All the graphic imagery boys crave with none of the bad stuff that comes with porn. It’s an open honest look at the subtleties of female pleasure. (It’s also a must have for all men too…. EVERYONE NEEDS IT!!!)
It is explicit. It is graphic. It’s FUCKING AWESOME!! Happy to support research into women’s sexual pleasure. (I tried to get them to come on my show, I’ll keep trying!)
Consider Creative Ways To Channel The Sexual Energy
Consider sex toys. A vibrator for girls and a masturbator sleeve for boys.
Girls Need Solo Time To Learn How To Orgasm
By providing teenage girls with a vibrator can help them learn how to orgasm. Since most women don’t orgasm during intercourse without clitoral stimulation, providing teenage girls with a tool to help them achieve the pleasure they’re seeking will reduce the need for them to look elsewhere to help them to find it.
Checkout Fun Factory and Good Vibrations for a variety of body safe options.
No More Stiff & Crusty Socks!
By providing teenage boys with a masturbation sleeve can help prevent shame and embarrassment by making clean up a breeze.
GoodVibrations.com has several to choose from, such as the one you see here.

Robin helps parents prepare for these challenging conversations by offering online training programs, private coaching and through her weekly radio show, Holistic Sex Ed Radio on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
