Episode 038: Teach Kids About Money
It’s easy to make financial mistakes when you don’t know any better. Most of us didn’t get much of a financial education. We learned how to count money, balance a checkbook and that money comes from doing work but not how to make money work for us. Many of us live from paycheck to paycheck and carry too much debt. Poor money habits and unexamined beliefs about money sabotage our long term financial success. It doesn’t have to be this way.
In this fascinating interview, we share how to talk to your kids about finances. In the process, Victoria Lowell educates adults who may not know how to invest in the stock market, get out of debt, or identify beliefs that get in the way of financial success. This down to earth conversation will help you get started on building your own financial wealth, while you teach your children about money, finances and building their own wealth. Imagine where you’d be today if you had started investing in your future at 8 years old.
